Packets are mini-categories within their master category. If you want to play both the studio and the live versions of a song, but you don’t want to play that song twice as much as the others in the category, a packet is the solution. If you are playing a dozen songs by one artist, but you don’t want to hear that artist quite so much, you can put some of their songs into packets to reduce the frequency.
